Open-source licenses
TurboGet stands on the work of many open-source projects. Here is every component it ships with, and the licence it is used under.
TurboGet's own code, design and name are © 2026 Shahrukh Sheikh. TurboGet is built on, and ships with, the open-source software listed below. Each component is used under its own licence, and those licences apply to that component regardless of TurboGet's terms of use. My thanks to everyone who builds and maintains these projects.

GPL and LGPL components
FFmpeg is included as a separate program (bin\ffmpeg.exe, bin\ffprobe.exe). The bundled build is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 3. TurboGet runs it as an external process and is not linked against it. mutagen is licensed under the GNU GPL version 2 or later.
Qt is used through PySide6 under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3. The Qt and PySide6 libraries are shipped as separate files in the TurboGet installation folder, so you can replace them with your own compatible build.
Written offer: for at least three years from the date you received TurboGet, I will provide, on request, a copy of the complete corresponding source code of the GPL- and LGPL-licensed components in the exact versions distributed with TurboGet, for no more than the cost of providing it.
